Job Description

We're looking for that person who could be our next million dollar producer. Someone who is motivated to help themselves by helping others grow and achieve success by developing their overall insurance and risk management strategies.

We want to add a motivated and personable new employee to our insurance sales team who is seeking a new learning opportunity with lots of room for growth. The ideal candidate for our entry-level insurance agent position has a passion or industry experience that can be leveraged into a quick-start marketing strategy. We utilize several market-leading technologies to help identify suspects and develop them into prospects. Bring a friendly attitude and a passion for customer service, and we’ll invest our resources into training you to be a successful insurance sales representative!


As a producer, you would spend your time identifying suspects and developing them into active prospects who can benefit from our insurance and risk management knowledge, advice and counsel, market access, and high-level service standards. You would work with our sales manager to learn and use market-leading sales software and develop sales opportunities. Additionally, you would work with our marketing department to develop and present insurance and service proposals to prospects.

Once an account is won, you would work with our service department to handle the day-to-day administration of the account.

  • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals
  • Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs
  • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients


  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Any specific industry knowledge that could be used to quick-start your prospecting.
  • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus
  • Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful
